Razor Halter~

Tadaa~~!!
Razor Tank / Halter Tadaa!

Some changes were made to this.

It was actually a tank/cami, but I prefer halters - so... I changed it.

And then it also had thinner straps, but I prefer a slightly thicker one...

And I also prefer a snug fit, for those days out in the sun especially.

Behold the razor halter!

The pattern is available here.

This top is knitted from Phildar Coton yarn in color 'Atoll' with my favorite Clover needles.

Razor-ing around~

I don't know how much longer I can finish this but I hope to share a picture of the completed project soon~! :)

As promised yesterday - pictures of my Razor Tank so far.

Almost there...

And I'm wondering if I should make it a halterneck top instead? hmmm...

Razor a little more!

Razor Tank almost there~~

Almost there for Razor Tank~~

I am considering changing it into a halter neck which I would prefer ... But still in the works.

This is quite exciting!

(and I think I might have more Phildar left than expected! So I'm quite sure I can make something else! :D)

'Get anything you need'

That's not a good thing to say when I have no constraints left to splurge.

Thankfully I didn't really.

I just bought a few things.

like more Clover stuff

More Clover things!

and here's a look at the baby yarn I've got a few days ago to prepare making the baby gift for a friend.

Tiny Tots (Sirdar) -

My lace yarn has arrived too after the meet up over the weekend. I can't wait to get started of course, but then I need to finish more things before I do. So let's hope i don't cast this on so soon. (Well I guess I need more things like more beaded markers, a good needle, etc etc etc)

Knitpicks Gossamer Sunrise~

MLC also gave away these beautiful Mohair. I haven't decided what to do with them but I love the colors so much. It reminds me of Amy from Evanescence. hehehe

My Fave WIP... :)

I admit, I have startitis. So there's a number of projects I've started but the time I have to really complete them? hmm...

But then again, I've been making good progress recently. Maybe it's because I'm starting to get the hang of it in the recent months. I know I started knitting away some years back but I never really put my heart into it until the last 8 months or so.

So, Here I present my favorite WIP as of today! It's my Razor Tank!

And today it stands at 20 repeats (actually 22)

Razor Tank 20 repeats!

It's my favorite wip so far because firstly, it's my first project working in the round, and I find it so much fun and so much easier! Secondly, it's made with all my favorite things - namely, Phildar! (Coton Micro fibres) from Lyon(!! my favorite place), with Clover aluminium needles! I also have my Clover row counter and stitch marker with this wip!

Yummy Blue

Of all the projects I have in my bag now, this is the only one that's for me. And in fact, this is the first wearable project I'm making really for myself. I'm so glad I got the cotton yarn, and such a suitable pattern because of the really warm weather here. I really can't wait to finish this! :)

Mollie likes it too!

Mollie Checks out knit

Here's a 'sculpture' of it in case you haven't gotten enough. I just joined the new ball of yarn and have finished a couple of rows on it. :P

Which Gift to make?

I'm wondering which gift to make...

I still have some time for my friend won't be delivering so soon but it's always good to plan since I'm kinda... slow :P

I thought this blanket would be nice.

The pattern is available here

Then again hats are also cute, and this one seems real quick to make

If you looked at the pattern here, I'm sure you would agree as well.

I also thought this was really cute!!

the pattern is here ... but honestly i'm a little annoyed with the powder puff sort of yarn... :(

The last hat option is this

and the pattern is here.

I thought i'd make a little baby top - i can't remember where i saw it now - but for the moment, these should be the options...

Still wondering~~!

Gool Ol' Cabled Scarf Casted on

I also wanted to learn cabling after exams. So I found this great pattern and casted on.

I think this would be a gift eventually cos it's to hot to wear this in this 'sunny island, set in the sea~~'

Ok, i know i have many things to learn 'after exams' and i've done two of them. Not bad huh? :D

I decided to do the Razor Tank with the Phildar yarn I got. I wanted to learn knitting in the round too after exams. So... Here goes! :D I think I would love this tank a lot when it's done. The coton yarn's really smooth and I'm working with clover needles. I love it already!

Can't wait to finish this really... :D

I've got my yarn winder!! :D

I got my yarn/ball winder today!

Me Yarn Winder

And i was telling a friend i'll undo my bartika yarn tank i was working on. It's been stuck on the needles far too long because of the !@#*&$#*( tangled yarn.

Here's the mess of the yarn

Bartika in a Mess

and here's the yarn wound on my trusty new winder. For some strange reason, the yarn actually broke into three (!) and i ended up having one huge ball of yarn and two small ones.

Batika on winder

Ok i think if there's anyone in need of a winder, please hire me (ahahaha) it's such a fun thing to do!
