Met Nadège on tuesday for a really overdue lunch (thanks to the bug i caught).

Anyways it was a great catch up as expected and wow!~ she brought me Phildar!

I must say Riviera looks like some funky yarn, but it's really so soft and nice, i can already tell what the knitted project would feel like. I'm so tempted to get more of it!!

Thalassa was a personal request (that turned out to be a gift) actually and it's a cotton-seacell mix. A GREAT mix i must say since it makes the cotton much smoother.

I had a kitty photo frame and a kitty keychain with these goodies too.

No knitting done in the meantime. not even a stitch.

too busy with that interview/presentation to the panel today and not feeling too great about it.

but oh well.

i'm sleepy so maybe some stitches tomorrow.

Phil'Bambou was here today! (or rather i went to meet them)



I was quite surprised at how small the little balls of yarn were. A little smaller than expected. The color was a little more unique then I expected too. But I like this shade even more that what I saw on the Net. I may never knit with them unlike what I planned - simply because it's Phildar and it's call Adriatic.



And as if you can't get enough, here's a lonely Phil'Bambou for you.



Together with Phil', Tapestries were acquired a couple of days back. Just didn't have the time to take pictures or put them up (read: mang, millie and mollie have been popular at my flickr)

Razor Halter~

Tadaa~~!!


Some changes were made to this.

It was actually a tank/cami, but I prefer halters - so... I changed it.

And then it also had thinner straps, but I prefer a slightly thicker one...

And I also prefer a snug fit, for those days out in the sun especially.

This top is knitted from Phildar Coton yarn in color 'Atoll' with my favorite Clover needles.

I decided to do the Razor Tank with the Phildar yarn I got. I wanted to learn knitting in the round too after exams. So... Here goes! :D I think I would love this tank a lot when it's done. The coton yarn's really smooth and I'm working with clover needles. I love it already!

Can't wait to finish this really... :D

Phildar on Vday!

So the postman rang the doorbell and the much awaited package arrived from Lyon!

Of course being excited about everything, I had to flip (with the trembling hands) through the book.
There are two things in there that i'd love to make and another which... if i EVER finish that sweater (yes i would i would) I'd like that for myself too.
